We’ve been asked from several folks on HOW we build these websites.
We have been making websites for 20 years. And the technologies have certainly changed.
Assuming you follow the techy things, here’s what we do.
- We build the website in WordPress
There are a lot of platforms. WordPress is, today, the most widely used platform. It’s easy to use and very customizable. But we are not necessarily ‘married’ to wordpress. We have used lots of platforms. We do have clients on .net (Microsoft), react (facebook), and even static html with javascript.
If you don’t know what this stuff is, don’t worry. That’s why we’re here.
But we are here to work WITH you. We believe this means having your best interests at heart.
- We customize the design
WordPress creates templates called ‘themes’ that can be customized however you want. We also create our own designs for wordpress as well. We offer unlimited revisions on these designs to make sure that your vision is matched the best that we can.
- We load your content
When we’re at this step, we’re nearly done. We load up all of your content to that you can see what you audience will see. Again, unlimited revisions, although we’ll try out best to get this wrapped up quickly for you.
- You approve and go live
Now you’re live and good to go!
But that doesn’t mean that we go away.
You are empowered to make updates yourself. But perhaps you might not know how, haven forgotten, or would like us to update the website for you….
No worries.
We are here to help. We don’t want you to become dependent on us, but we are here to help.
With these kinds of updates, we will do them for you and share a quick screen shot of where we went so that you can do this job yourself next time.
It’s up to you.
