How is off site SEO done?

Here are some of the high items when doing off site SEO for clients.

  • Finding good websites to post a story to
  • Finding good websites to comment on a relevant story
  • Finding relevant websites where your customers might hang out.
  • Talking about a problem solving story on those sites.
  • Creating new content everyday.
  • Using good words in that article that people look for to solve there problem.
  • Linking with good words in that article.
  • Doing it everyday.

These are the reasons why most people don’t do what I do.  But finding  a new website to add audience value to everyday can be a chore in itself. Believe me it can be confusing.

But off site SEO needs to be done for some people. Because when it comes down to it, it’s not fair. Your website is just if good if not better then your competitors. Same goes with your service, selection and what you can do for your customers.

So why are others outranking you?

When people ask me how long until we rank on Google and when does it end, please keep this in mind. When does marketing end?

My grandfather is 95 years old now. I love him dearly. He is a tech guy like me and owned a TV repair shop. He’s part of my inspiration to go off on my own path and try to help others. He told me he was able to take out one ad in the newspapers when he opened. The rest is all from word of mouth.

If your business is like my Grandpa’s, then that’s fine by me. If I can help you get started in getting the word out about your business, I would be thrilled with that. It just depends on your business and how competitive that space is.

Sometimes the competition is eager to bury your efforts and sometimes it’s not. So the level of rigor in marketing efforts depends on what you’re trying to do and who it is you’re trying to reach.

One thing I try to focus on in my writings (if you didn’t tell from the above post, my business involves A LOT of writing) anyways, the ONE….. I would consider MOST IMPORTANT THING that I focus on when I’m writing is the CUSTOMERS. I’m always trying to BETTER UNDERSTAND the CUSTOMERS.

I don’t spend a lot of effort talking about the product. Whether it’s microfiber this or super sturdy that. I write about the concerns of the customers, empathize with them, and offer your product or service as an option for help.
